Learn to play real musical arrangements on authentic steel pans. Prior musical experience is helpful, but not necessary. This unique ensemble accommodates and challenges participants of varying experience.
Each 90-minute session includes
- Instruction on basic performance techniques
- Instruction on rehearsal techniques
- Interaction with other student musicians
- Brief historical background of this intriguing musical genre
- Social interaction time
- But primarily hands-on performing
Open to students in grades 5–12 (ages 10–18). Please sign up early as class size is limited.
Tuition is $75.00* which includes all materials and use of equipment for the class.
